Termite Control

Termite Control

Termites or white ants are the most harmful of the wood destroying pests. Their activities are wide/spread throughout the country. They are also referred to as social insects. Their main colonies are usually located in the ground and from the nests. The termites make long galleries through the earth, possibly through the walls of buildings until they reach the wood work. It is obvious that the existence of termites in the soil will lead to much destruction of buildings and the woodwork. Treating the entire floor area of a building at the time  of construction using sidual termiticide is the only answer to prevent their existence in the soil.

Methods Use to Eliminate Termites

Termite control is used for both constructed houses and constructing houses

Post construction anti termite control
Pre construction anti termite control

Drilling Treatment

Drilling any slabs that is next to the home or business and inside the garage are a vital part of the termite treatment.
The reason for drilling these holes is to put the termiticide/insecticide under the slab where the termites can come into contact with the finished product.

Soil Injection Treatment

Soil treatments are liquid termiticides which ensure adequate coverage in the soil. Injection of this system in the soil creates a treated area that reduces the population of termites and envelops the structure with a long-term protection.

Soil Spray Treatment

Soil treatments are often called termite “barriers”. Historically this came about as many of the older chemicals were repellent to termites. Termites coming into contact with this treated soil around the home would be repelled by the chemical, preventing them from entering the home – an invisible, protective “barrier”.
